About Me

I have been working in the health and wellness industry for the past 20 years (don’t do the math!). My background in Complementary Alternative Medicine has allowed me to incorporate my training in anatomy and physiology with my experience as a yoga teacher to create a more holistic approach to healthcare.

I graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Business Management and Community Health. I am a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and a registered yoga therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists. As a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and yoga therapist, I have worked extensively in the area of functional wellbeing and alternative health therapies.

Currently, I live in Lehi, Utah and own my own yoga business , Sraddha Yoga, which offers individual and group yoga practices. My emphasis on anatomy and physiology within the practice of yoga and other forms of exercise creates a unique attention to body “language” and encourages students to acknowledge, understand, and give voice to what is going on inside.

I also work at The Center for Change, in Orem, Utah, creating yoga and other movement groups as a therapy for patients with eating disorders. The focus of this work is to help individuals create healthy, balanced lives through “functional fluidity” and “intuitive movement”. I am a frequent lecturer on the subjects of body image, intuitive living, and balanced life choices. I live in Utah with my husband and am the proud mother of a son and daughter – both of whom had the nerve to grow up and move away from home!
