My Philosophy

I thought about labeling this "My Yoga Philosophy", but I realized that it is really my life philosophy. I call it Intuitive Living and it falls into 3 main categories:

INTUITIVE MOVEMENT:

How do you like to move? Do you like to run? Do you like to play sports? Do you like to dance? Do you like to swim? Do you like to walk? Do you like to play on a swing set? Now, ask yourself: Why do you like to do what you do? Is it because you intuitively feel alive and joyful or is it because someone said you should like to do it?

Intuitive movement is simply asking ourselves these questions - "what do I love to do and why do I love to do it?"

For so long, we have been told to do "this" or "that" because experts say it is the best way of staying "healthy". "This or That" includes anything that we may not like to do, but feel obligated to do because everyone else is doing it.

How do you feel when you participate in your chosen exercise program? Are you excited each time you begin your activity? Or do you mentally and physically "cringe" at the thought of doing your activity; but force yourself to follow through to show your commitment?
